The core competence of miprolab GmbH, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is the infectious agents and toxins. As a service laboratory, the company offers with headquarters in Göttingen routinely microbiological veterinary diagnostics with practical advice and support. Reliable, easy to handle and fast detection methods are of great importance for medicine, food industry and the environment so that miprolab has specialized in the development, validation and production of test procedures of various kinds. Contract manufacturing and customer-specific developments carried out in close consultation and cooperation with the customer. So the company has developed a field-grade and robust rapid test for rapid on-site detection of biological substances and warfare agents brought as miPROTECT® in 2012 on the market. For the rapid test for the detection of snake venoms in the patient's blood miprolab GmbH was awarded in 2013, the Innovation Award of the district of Göttingen.
