The ILA Intelligent Laser Applications GmbH based in the Technology Centre in Jülich develops and distributes laser-optical measuring instruments for the acquisition of flow rates. This gave the following product groups can be distinguished:
- LDV-Systeme (laser Doppler velocimetry)
- PIV systems (particle image velocimetry)
- Laser Optical Flow Measurement
- Metrological Services
The ILA GmbH is distinguished from a particularly high degree of personal development especially in the fields of mechanics, optics, electronics and software development! This enables the provision of tailor-made system solutions for fluidic customer problems.
The products of the ILA GmbH are among others used in the following areas: in wind tunnels (eg Formula 1) to study the aerodynamics, in process engineering or for the investigation of engines and turbomachinery.
As part of the further development of our products and processes we are constantly working together with major research institutes in industry and science (including DLR, PTB Brunswick and Berlin) within various research projects.
